Pinch valve for shut-off on pneumatic conveying lines handling powders, granules and slurries. Compressed air introduced through the threaded bore reshapes the internal flexible sleeve until the passage is hermetically sealed. Because the bore is full and unrestricted when open, there is no turbulence and no pressure loss — the valve is effectively part of the pipeline. Product never contacts the casing, so there is nothing to abrade but the sleeve, and sleeve and bush replacement is quick. Apart from that periodic change, no maintenance is required.
