Pneumatic pinch valve fitted in the silo filling line as the last line of defence against overfilling. The anti-abrasive rubber sleeve closes fully on the cement flow without any metal parts crossing the bore, so there is nothing to wear or jam. The air receiver system prevents the valve reopening on insufficient supply pressure, which stops a tanker discharging into a silo whose safety system is not live.
